On October 20, 2021, after a two-year pause caused by the pandemic, Rotary Club Moscow International hosted its RestartU charity evening at the residence of H.E. Vardan Toganyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Russian Federation. The event brought the RestartU spirit back to life — with music, generosity, and shared intention.
A Gracious Return
This evening held special significance as it marked RestartU’s first live event after lockdowns, under the kind patronage of Ambassador Toganyan and with support from the Armenian Cultural Center and Mr. Vladimir Gabbe, who curated the artistic direction of the night.
Art, Auction & Action
Guests enjoyed an immersive cultural experience, while also participating in the charity auction. 7 of 11 artworks — sculptures and paintings generously submitted by Konstantin Stanovov and Armen Vahramyan — were sold, contributing directly to the RestartU cause and supporting the artists.
The Result
Thanks to donations, ticket sales, and the auction, RestartU raised 960,000 RUB. Combined with a small reserve fund, this made up a total of 1,100,000 RUB — enough to purchase:
- 3 custom rehabilitation chairs
- 1 mobility walker
This support went directly to children in need of mobility equipment — giving them dignity, independence, and a renewed connection to the world around them.
