A creative space where children grow through hands-on therapy, guided inclusion, and meaningful community.

In the village of Zarytki, Ryazan region—270 km from Moscow—a unique social initiative is taking shape: the transformation of a summer camp into a year-round therapeutic workshop. The goal is to empower children from vulnerable backgrounds through creative handcrafts and inclusive social programs, helping them build independence and emotional resilience.

Creating a Place for Growth

The Little Country project is built on an existing village space with housing and recreational facilities. The planned addition—a loom workshop—will serve as both a therapy tool and a way to involve children in meaningful, tangible work. By focusing on craftsmanship, children not only develop motor skills but also gain confidence, patience, and a sense of achievement.

Beyond Therapy: Inclusion and Empowerment

The project is designed with an inclusive mindset. It is developed in cooperation with the Union of Families with Many Children and aims to create a safe space where children from various social backgrounds interact, share responsibilities, and grow together. Removed from difficult family environments, children can focus on learning new skills and forming healthy habits of cooperation and autonomy.

From Summer Camp to Year-Round Haven

What began as a seasonal initiative is evolving into a permanent support space for children in need. With the development of the loom workshop and ongoing infrastructure improvements, the aim is to make this therapeutic village fully functional year-round, ensuring continuous access to rehabilitation and support.
